Privacy Policy
The Secretariat of the 2026 K-Safety Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "Secretariat") establishes and discloses this Privacy Policy in accordance with Article 30 of the Personal Information Protection Act to protect the personal information of data subjects (users) and to process related grievances promptly and efficiently.
Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)
The 2026 K-Safety Expo processes personal information solely for the purposes of managing and operating the '2026 K-Safety Expo' event. Personal information will not be used for any purpose other than those stated below. If the purpose of use changes, necessary measures, such as obtaining separate consent, will be implemented in advance.
• Performance of Contracts and Fee Settlement: Performance of agreements regarding service provision and fee settlement based on service delivery.
• Identity Verification and Notification: Identity verification, personal identification, handling of civil complaints, and delivery of important notices related to service use.
• Marketing and Information Delivery: Providing new guidance, event updates, and promotional/advertising information for which the data subject has provided separate consent.
Article 2 (Processing and Retention Period of Personal Information)
The 2026 K-Safety Expo processes and retains personal information within the retention and use period prescribed by law or agreed upon by the data subject at the time of collection.
• Retention Period: Three (3) years after the conclusion of the 2026 K-Safety Expo.
Article 3 (Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties)
The 2026 K-Safety Expo processes personal information only within the scope specified in "Article 1 (Purpose of Processing Personal Information)." Personal information will only be provided to third parties in cases falling under Article 17 of the Personal Information Protection Act, such as when prior consent is obtained from the data subject or under special provisions of law.
Article 4 (Outsourcing of Personal Information Processing)
The 2026 K-Safety Expo does not outsource the processing of personal information to any external third party.
Article 5 (Rights and Obligations of Data Subjects and Methods of Exercise)
1. Data subjects may exercise their rights related to personal information protection against the 2026 K-Safety Expo at any time:
1. Request to access personal information: Access may be limited or restricted pursuant to Article 35, Paragraph 4 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
2. Request for correction or deletion: A request for deletion cannot be made if the personal information is explicitly designated as a collection item under other relevant laws and regulations.
3. Request for suspension of processing: A request for suspension of processing may be restricted or denied pursuant to Article 37, Paragraph 2 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
2. The rights under Paragraph 1 may be exercised in writing, or via telephone, e-mail, or fax (FAX) in accordance with Form No. 8 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Personal Information Protection Act. The 2026 K-Safety Expo will take action on such requests without delay.
3. If a data subject requests the correction or deletion of errors in their personal information, the 2026 K-Safety Expo will not use or provide the personal information until the correction or deletion is completed.
4. The rights under Paragraph 1 may be exercised through a legal representative or an authorized agent. In this case, a power of attorney must be submitted in accordance with Form No. 11 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Personal Information Protection Act.
Article 6 (Items of Personal Information Processed)
The 2026 K-Safety Expo processes the following items of personal information:
• Name, Email Address, Company/Organization Name, Department/Major, Job Title/Position, Address, Contact Number, Classification of Affiliated Organization, Purpose of Attendance.
Article 7 (Destruction of Personal Information)
1. The 2026 K-Safety Expo will destroy personal information without delay when it becomes unnecessary, such as upon achieving the purpose of collection and use or the expiration of the retention period.
2. The procedures and methods for destroying personal information are as follows:
1. Destruction Procedure: Personal information collected for registration and confirmation of participation in the 2026 K-Safety Expo will be stored for a certain period based on internal policies and other relevant laws (refer to the retention period) after the purpose is achieved, and will then be permanently destroyed.
2. Destruction Method: Personal information recorded and stored in electronic file format will be permanently deleted using technical methods that render the records irrecoverable. Personal information recorded on paper documents will be shredded using a shredder or incinerated.
Article 8 (Privacy Officer)
The 2026 K-Safety Expo has designated a Privacy Officer and a Privacy Coordinator as follows to take overall responsibility for personal information processing, and to handle data subject complaints and remedy damages related to personal information processing.

Article 9 (Amendment of Privacy Policy)
This Privacy Policy shall take effect on September 1, 2025.
Article 10 (Measures to Ensure the Safety of Personal Information)
The 2026 K-Safety Expo takes the following technical, administrative, and physical measures necessary to ensure safety against the loss, theft, alteration, or leakage of personal information:
1. Administrative Measures: Establishment and implementation of internal management plans, regular privacy training for staff, etc.
2. Technical Measures: Managing access privileges to personal information processing systems, installation of access control systems, encryption of unique identification information, and installation of security software.
3. Physical Measures: Restricting physical access to server rooms, data storage archives, etc.
Article 11 (Installation, Operation, and Rejection of Automatic Personal Information Collection Devices)
The 2026 K-Safety Expo does not use "cookies" that store and retrieve user data/browsing information from time to time.
Terms and Conditions of Use
Chapter 1: General Provisions
Article 1 (Purpose)
The purpose of these Terms and Conditions is to define the conditions, procedures, and other necessary matters for using the official website of the K-Safety Expo 2026 (hereinafter referred to as the "Website"), provided by the Secretariat of the 2026 K-Safety Expo (hereinafter referred to as the "Secretariat").
Article 2 (Effectiveness and Revision)
1. These Terms and Conditions shall become effective when the Secretariat posts them on the Website screen and the User agrees to them.
2. The Secretariat may amend these Terms and Conditions within a reasonable scope that does not violate relevant laws, such as the Act on the Regulation of Terms and Conditions and the Personal Information Protection Act. In the event of an amendment, the Secretariat will notify users by posting the effective date, reason, and details of the revision on the homepage from seven (7) days prior to the effective date until the day before it takes effect.
Article 3 (Governing Laws and Customs)
Any matters not specified in these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the relevant laws and general commercial practices.
Chapter 2: Service Use Agreement
Article 4 (Formation of Agreement)
The service use agreement is established when the user applies for use, agrees to the contents of these Terms and Conditions, and the Secretariat accepts the application.
Article 5 (Application for Use)
Users can apply for use by filling out and submitting the membership registration form provided by the Secretariat through the Website.
Article 6 (Acceptance of Application)
1. The Secretariat shall accept the application for use if the Member accurately fills out all required fields in the application form.
2. The Secretariat may refuse to accept the application in any of the following cases:
o The application contains false information.
o The application is made using another person's name or identity.
o The application fails to meet any other registration requirements.
Article 7 (Modification of Agreement Details)
If any information provided at the time of application changes, the Member may request modifications online through the Website.
Chapter 3: Obligations of the Contracting Parties
Article 8 (Obligations of the Secretariat)
The Secretariat shall endeavor to protect the user's personal information, including registration details, in accordance with relevant laws and regulations. The protection and processing of personal information shall be governed by the relevant laws and the "Privacy Policy" established by the Secretariat. However, this obligation may not apply if requested by state authorities in accordance with legal provisions, for criminal investigations, or under other legal procedures.
Article 9 (Obligations of the Member)
1. Members shall not engage in any of the following acts when using the service:
o Unauthorized or fraudulent use of another member's ID.
o Reproducing, distributing, or providing information obtained through the service to a third party without permission.
o Infringing upon the copyright or any other rights of the Secretariat or third parties.
o Disseminating content that violates public order, morals, or societal standards.
o Engaging in acts related to or encouraging criminal activity.
o Violating any other relevant laws and regulations.
2. Members shall not transfer, donate, or assign their rights to use the service or any other status under the use agreement to others, nor shall they provide them as collateral.
Chapter 4: Use of Service
Article 10 (Service Content)
1. The services provided on the 2026 K-Safety Expo Website include:
o Introduction: Exhibition overview, conference details.
o Registration: Exhibition registration, conference speaker registration, and registration lookup.
o Programs: Exhibitor demonstrations, technical presentations, experiential and educational programs, etc.
2. The scope and content of the services provided to users shall be determined by the Secretariat's policies and are subject to change.
Article 11 (Responsibility for Service Use)
Users are strictly prohibited from using the service for hacking, linking to obscene websites, or distributing illegal software. The Secretariat shall not be held liable for any business outcomes, losses, or legal actions taken by relevant authorities resulting from a user's violation of this provision.
Article 12 (Suspension of Service)
The Secretariat may temporarily suspend the provision of services in any of the following cases:
• Unavoidable system maintenance, construction, or upgrades.
• Disruption or termination of telecommunication services by a telecommunications carrier as defined in the Telecommunications Business Act.
• Routine or emergency system inspections.
• Other force majeure events beyond reasonable control.
Chapter 5: Indemnification and Miscellaneous
Article 13 (Limitation of Liability / Disclaimer)
1. The Secretariat shall not be held liable for any information or materials obtained by members through the use of this service.
2. The Secretariat does not guarantee and is not responsible for the reliability, accuracy, or truthfulness of any information, materials, or facts posted by members on the service.
Article 14 (Jurisdiction and Governing Law)
In the event of any dispute arising from the use of this service, the court having jurisdiction over the location of the Secretariat's operating institution shall be the exclusive court of jurisdiction.
Addendum
These Terms and Conditions shall enter into force on September 1, 2025.
